Leigh Stothard is a very fine and accomplished drummer from Yorkshire who is highly respected by his peers in the music industry. Leigh is and exceptionally busy drummer playing for Leeds sensation ‘The DeLorean Drivers’ and Britain’s top function band ‘Three Men And A Bass’ who are credited for playing at Elton Johns wedding. Leigh also plays drums for ‘Paul Carey & Indigo Blade’ and steps out from behind his kit to play Bass for The eccentric and avant garde Ambient group ‘The Forgetting Room’ He is also in high demand as a session drummer and so to find the time to write produce and record these tracks on top of a heavy work schedule and be a husband and father at the same time is without doubt exceptional indeed. As well as Doing all the drum tracks Leigh also plays Guitars and Bass on many of the tracks and is accompanied on this album by some great guest artists who include his wife Traci and son Rowan as well as great singer songwriters and musicians including in no particular order: Paul Carey, Neil Thomas, Becky Taylor, Gary Ives, Paul Heaton, Chris Pearson, Barbara Young, Peter Pearson, Donald Ward, Jasper Bolton, Darren Driver, Ricky Dakers, & Jonathan Taylor. Finally I think what’s great about this album is that it's a bunch of songs written and produced by Leigh not for the record company or as demos but purely for the enjoyment of playing with friends and to me that’s commendable especially in this industry!
