Born in the Bronx NY, Bobby Green (Richard Robert Green) studied radio, journalism, and theater at Emerson College in Boston, MA. Although he majored in Mass Communications, he ultimately pursued a career in music. While in Boston, he worked with local artists such as New Edition, Jozun Crew, Planet Patrol, Hypertension, and the Energetics as a “rodie”; however, Bobby modeled their vocal styles, stage presence, and musical/vocal arrangements. in 1987, Bobby (formerly known as King Richard) released "Thrill Me" under Jackie Jack Records which he produced, arranged with Mike Mandel, composed, and performed. Bobby worked with other artist such as; Judy Torres, Trilogy, Jazzy Jay, and producer Mickey Garcia (Profile/Micmac records). In 2002, Bobby joined BiggaFiggaz Entertainment, in Norfolk VA, as a producer/songwriter Ricterscale and recorded several tracks for various labels. In 2013, Bobby joined the Vince Barbour Band and performed at Palm Gardens (in Norfolk) and the Sundown @ the Crowne (Hampton VA) then later recorded "999 Love" - produced by the Vince Barbour Band. Also, Bobby has performed with other local artist and bands such; "AS-1"at the Train Station (Newport News) Rick Elliott, Gregg "Termite" Rich, and Brian Eubanks of "AS-1." In 2014, Bobby joined Energy Recordings who released his single "All I Do" produced by Dylan Patrick Smith (Plateau) and is working on follow-up release entitled: Miles & Miles(After Hour Mix) also produced by Plateau. Currently, Bobby is currently working on a new project, with Energy Recordings, scheduled for release on Valentine Day 2016
