It is not uncommon to feel abandoned by God when we experience darker moments of life, such as death, abuse, loss, among other things. I was lead to write this song to dispel that untruth. God has promised that He would be with us always and that He would never leave us. That means through the good and the bad, He is there. What a blessing to know and be able to hold on to in those "low" moments. I pray that as you listen to this song, it will become a reminder for you that even when you're experiencing moments of pain, discouragement, disappoinment, etc., that you will trust in God's plan and run to Him.
