We would sit on the porch all night long and talk about old times just like a couple of old guys. I sat there watching the white shaggy hair from his face blowing in the wind like an aged lions' mane and he told me he didn't have any regrets. The old man said as long as he could read and listen to music he would never really be alone. As he stared into the twilight he didn't have very many fights left in him but he still had more faith and guts than anyone I ever knew.
