The lyrics are inspired from songs like "Walking in Memphis" and "Hotel California". The guitar playing draws from players like John Mayer, Fleetwood Mac and Dave Matthews. I was very careful to keep this from sounding like artsy-fartsy acoustic bleeding-heart love songs. There is nothing corny or overused in any of it. It's quite unique. The vocals are very dynamic, alternating from sexy to rock n roll. The chord progressions are thought provoking yet natural. It's all acoustic, so I made up for it with a percussive technique and groovy playing. You can listen to these songs a thousand times and never get tired of them. The longest one is like three and a half minutes. It's like...production minimalist, but acoustic maximalist..if that makes any sense. They've been professionally mixed and mastered, and have a pop-radio sheen. There's something here for everybody. You'll love it, I promise!
