The Race is an acoustic ballad that chronicles the lives of racing greyhounds all over the world, from the tracks to their hope of finding their forever homes. Inspired by Morgan and Cory, Dahan's two retired racing greyhounds, it follows a racer from his days at the track to the day he fulfills his dream of being welcomed into a loving home. The lives of these racers are not easy, but their hearts are big and their souls are strong. The Race reminds us of this, and that it is within our power to end 'the race' for all retired greys.
