简介
Inspired by Canadian kitchen parties, acoustic instrumentations, and music collectives while growing up in North Bay, and later Guelph, Ontario, Paula moved to Warsaw to study and a few years later met Karol. Together they’ve been creating folky-pop soundtracks to bike in the streets rather than to roll-in-the-hay to. Their honest lyrics and create truly pop narratives - capturing moments and relationships entangled in love, life, growth, and loss. In the spring and summer of 2010, Paula and Karol played in cities and larger festivals in and around Poland, Germany, and even Iceland. Throughout the year they started playing with a larger hyped up squad of keeners, including Zocha Moruś (bass), Staszek Wróbel (drums and stand up bass), Igor Nikiforow (harmonium, melodica and drums), and Krzysiek Pozarowski (bass). After releasing a self-produced EP in December 2009, they joined forces with LADO to release their debut LP exactly a year later. “Overshare” is an hyper-mix of folk, country, disco, indie pop, and classic rock and thanks to a slew of guest musicians, the 10-track release features a banjo, a mini-moog, a trumpet, harmonium, a Rhodes, and various claps and shouts that make for a one-of-a-kind, wacky, eclectic feast of honest energy and moving sound.
