John Hancock is proud to release his first solo album via his own label, Snuggle Down Productions. The album, Part Mongolian, showcases a variety of styles of music, from the digital folk of "Mrs.", to the jungle calypso of "Watering Hole", Hancock offers an exciting and innovative melting pot of sounds and flavors. Bringing to mind the eclectic flair of Prince's Sign O The Times, combined with the DIY efforts John Hancock employs in writing, recording, and manufacturing his music all on his own, Part Mongolian sits somewhere in between the Purple One's hyper acute production and Ariel Pink's lo fi pig slop pop.
