Modern rock musician Joe Jeffries (Baltimore, MD) has faced many challenges throughout his life and with his career in music. Music has been in Joe’s blood since birth as both his Father and Grandfather were singer songwriters associated with ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). Joe graduated with honors from the Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music (Hollywood, CA). Within a short time, Joe had managed to become a “first call” bassist at Sunset Sound (Hollywood, CA) and assisted with the Recording Arts department at Full Sail University (Winter Park, FL). Joe continued to peruse his music career (as he remains an active student and alumnus of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA) but describes 9 years of his life (between the ages of 23-31) as the “dark period”. In 2009, Joe’s first solo album “The Devil Hand” was released. Spring 2014, Joe will release his sophomore solo effort titled “Room 407”. Joe was born (at the hospital) in Room 407 and will be re-born (in a musical context) on Room 407. Joe’s follow-up release to Room 407 titled “Pucker Up” is already in the works for Fall 2014.
