Born and raised in North Carolina, 26 year old rapper Christopher Judd knew music was his passion from an early age. At the young age of 10, Millz was introduced to Hip Hop Music. By the age of fourteen he had taken his love for music and turned it into a DJing gig at local parties and school events. With his step fathers guidance, a young Chriz Millz was able to cultivate his skill and learn the ins and outs of the music business. It was through DJing that he gained an ear for good music allowing him to instantly tell a club banger from a street banger. DJing began to bore the young man and with countless records at his disposal he began to experiment with the instrumentals and free styling over the music. What started as a bedroom hobby soon grew to rocking crowds in school courtyards and at local parties. Chriz Mills reflected on the experience in school recalling a time when a cipher could start at the drop of a beat on whatever surface was available. It was due to these impromptu sessions and the growing number of students gathering to listen, that the tops to the schools trashcans were removed. “Sometimes the Principal woulstop and take a listen, right before breaking it up.” At the age of 16, Chriz Millz, decided to take another hobby and turn it into his dream. He and two other local rappers, Trap P and OC (Crown Ceaser), came together to form Plenty Bank Boyz. The group stayed in the studio working on many songs and productions. Four years later, Chriz Millz decided to go solo releasing a mixtape by the name of “Smoking Section” which consisted of collaborations with local producers. The mixtape was Executive Produced by “Black Jeruz” and Chriz Millz, combining a super producer’s talents with a young man’s talent and drive. “Smoking Section” created a strong buzz in the streets of Fuquay-Varina, Holly Springs, and Raleigh. Using the Internet, Chriz Millz was able to build on his buzz in the streets and is now back with the radio banger “BMW Lifestyle” produced by Durham produce “Gotti” for RuGotti Productions. The single was premiered on K97.5’s talent show, “919 Radio” which showcases local artist in the Raleigh-Durham and surrounding area. With increased support and a buzz surrounding him, Chriz Millz, is set to become a local sensation that the state of North Carolina can be proud to claim.
