Urban ‘Legendz” Simmons was born in Curacao, Willemstad in 1980. His first musical experiences began when he was 16 and he produce his first beat. Urban always seemed to reached the keyboard and play some notes. Always experimenting and playing melodies from known songs. His first rapgroup called ´Scandalouz´ starts when he reach highschool and he mets these 2 buddies (Vlady and Chris) that had the same interest in music. So they began making their original songs and Urban Legendz was the producer. At age 20 he went to Holland for studies where this group met again and started a new group name called Da Ridlaz. They rent a studio in Rotterdam and make their first official hit song ft Ivanhoe Willems. From that day the boys from “k-liber” heard them and offer to make a album. Every weekend we were in Amsterdam making music. That went on and this group made 3 Albums so far titeled “Nitido”, “Next Level” and “Illflavaz”. As a production team they called it “Illflavaz”. Urban Legendz the producer, Vlady the engineer and Chris the songwriter. So Urban Legendz kept making SmashHit beats for artist like K-liber, Basic One, Area 51, Enmeris (Me Tiene Loco), Hunneley (Lei di karma), Sherman Smith and a lot of other hot artist. As a succesfull Albums of DaRidlaz and also performing at Holland and the carribean for so many times, now Urban Legendz wants more and decided to call himself “SteVnSimmons” and started to produce remixes and house music now. Soon you will hear more of him.
