Fresh from his latest performances in South Beach, Miami to celebrate the release of his latest single, Burn It Up, Talentino’s music and stage show have been moving crowds and drawing in audiences from all over the map. He has built a reputation for entertaining crowds with his infectious energy and is one of the most charismatic, talented, and loved performers in New York City. Talentino was born in the Dominican Republic, and at a very young age moved to the Bronx, New York where he now calls home. At the age of 17, Talentino was discovered by a talent scout who recognized his enormous potential and introduced him into the world of modeling as well as the acting/entertainment industry. Modeling: Talentino has modeled for Sean John as well as other well known fashion designers. Film: Talentino has acted in such films as “Ghetto Dawgs II”, “Scrolls the Book of Life I & II”, and “Brooklyn Nights”. Most recently Talentino was chosen for the starring role in the independent film, “Buena Gente”. He was approached by Bad Boy to appear in Lil Kim’s music video “Jump Off”, and was also asked by Rocafella to appear in Jay-Z’s music video “Excuse me Miss”. Music has always been a passion for Talentino, but it wasn’t until he began promoting for The Copacabana that he realized his true calling. While watching a performance, he studied the crowd and noticed their reaction to the artist and at that moment, he knew that he could move the crowd like no other. Performances: During the Summer of 2009, he performed at the NY Puerto Rican Day Parade and at the 2009 Puerto Rican Day Festival In June of 2008, Talentino released his debut album titled “The Talent Show”. He has performed his songs at venues in NYC such as The China Club, El Morrocco’s, Body, Clique Lounge, The Gallery, and many more. In April 2009, he performed at the famous Club Tropicana in Virginia Beach as the opener for Nicky Jam. Talentino returned to his homeland, DR, in late 2008 to promote his album and performed at the Olympic Stadium, as well as on the “Venya Carolina Show”. He also participated in the Peru Relief Fundraising concert and recently hosted the 2009 Miss Latina Ottawa pageant in Ottawa, Canada. Here in the US, he has been interviewed on TeleMundo channel 47 on “La Show de las Comadres”, and on the Radio Station “La Kalle” 105.9. TV & Radio: Talentino has also hosted a TV show on “El Circuito TV”, and now hosts his very own online radio show named after his CD “The Talent Show’ on www.urbanlatinoradio.com Mon-Thurs 9pm-12am where he has interviewed the many celebrities such as Wisin & Yandel, Max Agende (Aventura), Angelis Zambrano, Tobey Love, Big Mato, Secario, Drag-On, El Lapiz, and Carlos Santos (MTV3) to name a few.
