"Last Night's Dreams" is the first album from Jesse Cobb, 20 years old and already a veteran of the San Francisco scene. Jesse started his music career by picking up the guitar at the age of 13. Since then he has performed with many bands at venues such as Slim's, Great American Music Hall, and Cafe DuNord. Currently he plays guitar in the Chris Cobb Band, a popular blues band fronted by none other than his father, Chris Cobb, a bay area guitar legend. Jesse started writing his own music not long after he started playing, and started performing it at various cafes and open mics at the age of 17. Reminiscent of artists like Neil Young, The Allman Brothers, and The Band, his original music could best be classified as Americana with lots of soulful, intricate guitar work. Besides Jesse on vocals and guitar, "Last Night's Dreams" features incredible work from Artis Joyce (AJ), Andy Doerschuk, and Kevin Zuffi, on bass, drums, and keyboard. The record is an exciting release from an artist just beginning his musical journey.
