Big Ced(The Texas Titan) grew up in the city of Houston, TX. At an early age he began to learn how to play multiple instruments as well as learning how to compose arrangements. Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B being the most of what he loved writing and performing. As a teenager in the middle 90's, Big Ced(The Texas Titan) formed the group Mayhem Org. with life long friends Kendrick "KJ" Jackson and Robert "RJ" Domain. In the fall of 1995 they released their first and only single "No Sellout" along with female R&B vocalist Yvonne. Due to poor management and accounting, the group disbanned but remained affiliated and began to work on their seperate projects featuring eachother. Soon after tragedy struck when Kendrick "KJ" Jackson was found shot to death near the Hunter's Glen subdivision in Missouri City, TX. Later following the untimely death of KJ, Big Ced(The Texas Titan) began to work more seriously on his solo career. Taking a break from the club scenes, he began to study the music industry and its dealings more while perfecting his skills as an artist. He also tried his hand at producing, engineering, directing, video shooting and editing.

Still maintaining his underground status, Big Ced(The Texas Titan) has proved himself most definitely on all levels. Taking what he has learned from his predecessors while ignoring the negativity and hatred associated with the industry. Keeping his composure, Big Ced(The Texas Titan) without a doubt does it for pure love of music and not just the rap genre. I guarantee that once you listen to what he has to say, you too will agree with me that he is one artist that has gone unrecognized for far too long.
