Tracing a wheel on water is the debut album of classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan. The solo album features compositions of the last 100 years, from composers in six countries and in various compositional styles: from energetic and twisted dance to folk lullaby and picturesque sounds of Latin America. Juxtaposing the Zen-like qualities of Toru Takemitsu and the still-picture of movement by Kevin Siegfried, with Romantic music inspired by Bach and an exuberant tango, "Tracing a wheel on water" is an exciting exploration of music new and old for guitar. The album includes four world premiere recordings by Daniel Pinkham, Kevin Siegfried, & Lior Navok.
