Formed in March 2011, Sonic Groove is a relatively new collaboration of talented and experienced musicians based in Roanoke, Virginia. Founders and guitarists Rick Anderson and Robert List have been writing music together and performing in the area for over 8 years. Jason Conn, the drummer and serious John Bonham fanatic provides the relentless energy that combines with Art England’s solid bass lines and bottom end to produce the backbone and beat that puts the Groove in Sonic. With the masterful and melodic vocals and keyboards by Scott McDowell, this versatile 5-piece band should not be missed.
