This is my first solo EP and I'm quite excited about it. This music was written out of a desire to create something I love. I wasn't thinking of fans or critics, it was simply an outlet to express certain emotions and ideas I was feeling on any given day. I hope this album make you feel something. I wanted the song and the guitar part to feel like a journey. Track 02 - Hold Onto You Vocals and Piano by John Lane Music and Lyrics by John Lane Recorded and Produced by Samuel King This song is about political differences dividing friends, how–in my generation–ideologies are often polarized. Track 03 - Kansas Vocals, Piano and Guitar by John Lane Music and Lyrics by John Lane Recorded and Produced by Samuel King This song was written for my grandma before she passed away. I wanted to capture the nostalgia that I experience whenever I visit Kansas, where my family's roots are from. I would love to hear what you think of my work. Thank you.
