In 2011 a songwriting relationship was rekindled when Shelene Thomas- an accomplished singer/songwriter within the Pop/R&B, Urban, Hip-Hop/Rap, and Reggae communities, and Joe Sears- a songwriter/producer/arranger and engineer with a long list of diverse experience, resumed their collaboration in New York City. These songs came together as incredible bursts of energy- Joe would send Shelene a rough music mix, and Shelene would then create intense lyrics, brilliantly showcased by her vocal performance of these melodic treasures with complex vocal arrangements.
