Steve and Angie Cobb met in the Preservation Halls in Edinburgh, wrote a few songs, went through a few drummers, bass players, one rhythm guitarist and keyboard player before settling on the main line up, with Dall Philip, bass, and Terry O'Sullivan drums. Live TV appearance on The James Whale Show in to promote debut single which was recorded at The Mill Studios in Berkshire. Took us best part of a week but hey, Jimmy Page and Elton John used to own this gaff, we were soaking up the vibes maaan. TV DEGENERATION album was produced by Ian Beveridge in 1992. Ian had recorded our first demos at Pier House and had become a good mate by this time. In between he had been doing live sound for Nirvana, a hefty namedrop! Still happy with the album these days. Steve guitar style is likened to Alex Lifeson and Terry O'Sullivan's drumming takes a big nod to Neil Peart. The music itself is a lot more mainstream than their heroes, but nonetheless the musicianship is superb. Angie's voice has been compared to many classic rock singers.
