In 2013 Genise started working with an independent label by the name of Bell’s Music Group. During this time is when she made the decision to incorporate a group (God’s Worshippers) she put together to be a part of the upcoming project entitled “Stay Encourage”. Genise stated it was nothing but God that had her to put the group together because she vowed that she would never deal with groups again after being hurt in the past. However, once God gave her the name of the group in her dream she knew she couldn’t fight it anymore. Shortly after the group was officially put together, all types of things started to happen. They endured sickness, financial issues, family issues, death and heartache but through it all they stayed faithful and determine to serve God. They knew that God had something great in store for them. God’s grace and mercy is something Genise Williams and God’s Worshippers will always be thankful for. The group new project Stay Encourage will be out in 2015. The project was given that title because the songs on the CD were written to do just that, encourage God’s people to stay encourage no matter what you’re going through. The 1st single “My Heart Speaks” written by Genise is a song that comes straight from the heart directly to God. God knows your heart without you saying a word! Genise states her purpose is to minister through song to God’s people, and to lift up his holy name. To have group members around believing the same thing just makes doing God’s work so much easier.
