After a year of touring, in every broken down bar, swanky brewery, and small venue that would book her, Momma Molasses was given an opportunity to record a handful of songs in the County she grew up in, Moore County, N.C. "Anthems from a Broken Heart", chronicles a wounded lover's journey falling "out of love." The songs are a collection fit for those broken by past relationships, aiming to bring a sense of power, self-worth, and clarity from the knowledge that loneliness, heartbreak, and hope all walk hand in hand. This album was produced and recorded with live tracking at Casino Guitars in Southern Pines, NC.
