As many people in the UK know already, Luke and John of Nizlopi are taking the whole of 2009 off. That's right! No touring, recording etc. The boys have worked incredibly hard for so many years running their own independent label and touring non-stop so they decided to take some time out. [Already this year, Luke has lived in a tree house in Scotland and is now in a Farmhouse in France getting ready to “head East” and see where his feet take him]. So, here is a collection of songs that were first made available on the final tour of 2008 [the infamous’ Last Nights on Tour]...tour..if that makes sense? This is a “mini-CD” quite literally, it measures approx 3 inches across and will play in all CD players BUT Mac laptop users beware, we’ve never tried putting the disc into one of these machines for fear of it being swallowed up for ever [you know the sort that load thru a very thin slot on the front instead of having the standard PC type tray?] Therefore we would not recommend putting this disc into a Mac laptop of this design…don’t say we didn’t warn you! ----Oh, and wherever possible, the CD wallets have been signed by either Luke or John and in some cases by both of the guys [depending on whether Luke is tramping thru a Transylvanian wood or working on an organic farm in Bulgaria or not].Guess you could say he never really embraced the typical rock star life style huh? ---- ‘Answers’ and ‘Sandra’ are two brand new beautiful songs, the others are remixes that feature some good friends of ours and cover a number of musical styles, basically ‘Dance, rap and Bhangra’. ‘Answers’ pretty much spells out “where the boys are at the moment”, how they feel about the music industry and how they are thinking about their future. 'Sandra' is a lament for a very dear friend of Luke’s who is sadly with us no more – she was a very special person and we all miss her. Until we all meet again we would like to send our love to all who have supported us over the last few years. We hope to see lots of you again next year, take care.
