Arellano Stevens, Best know as Zen Arellano is an up and coming Hip Hop super star. Zen started his love for wordplay in the very first year of high school, when he started taking poetry Zen immediately fell in love with words and ideas. After taking four years of poetry Zen was inspired to be a writer, unsure of material he wanted to express to the world. In the summer of 2013 Zen moved to Kansas City, Missouri. Where he linked up with Dallaz Turner from Midrange Music, the two were an unbelievable duo that made hit after hit but never quite made it to the radio. Frustrated and deprived of recognition, Zen and Dallaz decided to focus more on their individual careers. A few months after becoming a solo artist Zen signed with Midrange Music, where he made the smash hit "Comin Up" also known as his first single. This was a huge step for Zen as he released his first original single. "Comin Up" not only shocked Kansas City, but also shocked the entire Midwest. Introducing a new style of hiphop that had never before been heard by Kansas City natives. After making a huge wave in the local Hip Hop scene, Zen soon became a name that everyone would know. After working with the great founder and owner of Midrange (MR3MG) Eric Surrat, Zen decided to take everything he had learned and take the independent route. For months Zen focused on building his character and becoming better day by day with hard work and dedication. After working on a few major hits Zen was itching to get back in the studio to record several hits that he has previously written. In an attempt to find a fair and local studio, Zen linked up with Alpone. From that point on Alpone and Zen continued to work building an amazing catalog of music. After realizing the capacity of what they were making, Alpone and Zen decided to work on a album. "Humble Beginning" would later be announced as the title for the first in studio album. With Alpone on the beat and Zen on the vocals, there was no way they could lose.
