I grew up on a Raspberry farm in Yarrow, B.C. and having been writing songs since. Like most other art forms, I found it a fascinating way to communicate emotions. I initially recorded my songs on a 4 track cassette recorder and eventually bought a digital 12 track recorder. This opened up a whole new world of options, as I was able to create a more accurate “picture” of my songs.

I used the 12 track for my 1st CD (Blue Mountain Rush). Editing was primitive, so I used my other hobby of Chainsaw carving to fund/upgrade my equipment, and eventually bought a DAW computer program. This allowed me unlimited tracks to experiment with, which often lead to songs that consisted of several genres/styles. I played all the instruments for my compositions, which often meant that if I wanted Orchestration, that I had to fumble through my Cello, Viola, and violin playing. I eventually bought a keyboard synthesizer which has offered me many more options for creating.

Although my “core” style is acoustic Folk, I love to blend genres and adding a variety instruments to my compositions. My lyrics are positive, clean, and intended for a global audience.
