Narrators is an Acoustic Duo residing squarely in the present while paying homage to their past. A mix of Folk Rock, Country, Cabaret and New Wave, Narrators found their foundation in two-part vocal harmony - a theme revisited in every song.

Cortnee Lydia Langlie’s musical escapades began in Minnesota at four. She grew up in touring theater companies, living on busses and going to school in hotel rooms. At 16, she picked up a guitar and began writing original music. After landing in the Bay Area she bumped into ex-roadie Stephen Dukeheart at an open mic. The two bonded over road stories which led to jamming and writing originals. They booked a few shows and officially formed Narrators in Summer 2013. The sound is the result of opposite musical influences, Dolly Parton to Genesis, and the common experiences they had early on, trying to figure it out, getting it wrong, then trying again.
