Featured composers include John Dowland, Alonzo de Mudarra and Laurencini de Roma as performed by Jay Gordon. Gordon is a classical guitarist and composer currently living in Minnesota. The cuts were recorded at 8-Fold Path Recording Studio in Shorewood, MN with Greg Bernett acting as recording engineer. Cedar and spruce top guitars were used for the various pieces. Composer and guitarist Jay Gordon has written numerous choral works, including a sacred collection, as well as extensive works for solo guitar featuring unique transcriptions & arrangements. His work includes commissions from Cantus, The Dale Warland Singers, and The National Lutheran Choir. He's been the recipient of several awards, residencies and grants.
