Jimmy Payne, first gained National Fame with a song he wrote with country singer, and songwriter writer Jim Glaser.

The song was "Woman, Woman, have you got cheating on your mind" a world -wide pop hit by Gary Puckett, and the Union Gap. Jimmy, had the first recording of it. He has toured many country around the world and recieved nurmous awards. Jimmy explains here about how"ON The Wings Of A Song", was born," I was Skyping with my friend Marnix Vervaet from Belgium and he suggested we write a song together.Altho,Marnix had never written a song before. I,said, " what do you want to write about." Marnix said, "Lets write about a time machine"I said I don't know anything about a Time Machine. He said "Well maybe not so much about a Time Machine as just being able to go back in time in your mind"

I thought that should be easy enough to write since I spend so much living there anyway...So, we started talking about what we might say and one thing led to another as the story developed, and one sure way to go back in time in your mind, Is to hitch a ride with an old familiar song and it won't take long to get there,"On The Wings Of A Song".
