In the summer of 2011 The Russian White founder Tom Rhymer faced homelessness. Often spending nights sleeping in the van refusing to sell his gear to make ends meet. The perseverance would pay off. After some time developing the project, he met Michael Colon at a show where their respective bands were both playing. The chemistry was almost instant from those early writing sessions. The electronic duo hit the studio in the summer of 2014. At this point they recorded their self titled debut at The Damage Room Recording Studio on the outskirts of Philadelphia with Paris native Kevin Pandele. Over the following months TRW enjoyed radio airplay of the singles Faberge', Mannequin and Levitator on Y102. Diving into the occult with a music video for Faberge' the band reached an unnerving pitch. They explored a subtle uneasyness with themselves and their audience. The band has also graced the local 2015 festival circuit Puffchella, Future Fest, and Elephants for Autism Festival. TRW opened some eyes and ears as winners of Best Electronic Band at the 2015 Elephant Talk Indie Music Awards in Atlantic City, NJ. The music is dark but the future is bright for these keyboard killers.
