My Name is Yonnick Hackshaw aka aYoNick and the Manhattan Chapter is an instrumental compilation album, (My 2nd). About 3 Years ago I moved to Manhattan from my hometown of Queens, NY and this project is the manifestation of the inspiration I’ve received whilst living here. Moving away from queens allowed me to really zone in on my craft and really tap into production. Although this is only my 5th year as a producer I have learned so much from so many places… ESPECIALLY since the move. Each Track relates to an experience I’ve had in Manhattan; so this project is quite literally a part of me. I have no intention of becoming rich and famous from this project. I just want people to enjoy listening and feeling the music as much as I did making it. I thank GOD and GOD alone for my talents. This Album has something for everyone. I like experimenting with genres, so if a track is listed as trap… best believe it has a unique spin on it.
