'House of Cards' are a band hailing from the northern suburbs of Melbourne and consist of 4 experienced musicians who have a passion for heavy metal and hard rock. Although heavy rock is the preferred style of each of the band members, each of the boys have band in numerous bands over the years ranging from Blues and Country & Western and Rock ‘n’ Roll. This diversity in their musical influences ensures that House of Cards’ new release is both original as well as something that will make you move.

The self-titled 'House of Cards' 6-song debut EP is the epitome of Heavy Rock. It is jam packed full of heavy blues based riffs, creating a groove which is encapsulated by catchy melodic vocal lines that will hook you in immediately. The heavy riffs in each of the songs explode into anthemic chorus’ that include layers of intricate but tasteful harmonies. Despite the heavy rock focus, the band’s diversity is highlighted by the rock ballad, ‘Bitter End’. Although the track slows down the tempo somewhat, it is not out of place, maintaining the album’s powerful feel. The only guarantee is that this original release will get you moving!
