Drayell Ravon Allen aka Cash Boy Dray born 10/16/1990, Wichita Kansas, immersed into the world of music making through his mother’s love for music. “As kid she was always cleaning and playing music”. Cash Boy Dray started his journey at the age of 15, joining a local group named DCB and winning local contests including the “Black Arts Fest”. Since then, he has continued to develop but during the finalizing stages of his Debut project “Money Hungry”, Drayell lost his 6 week old daughter Drayah to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). “I put my pain in my music and dedicated a song to her”. The song “Always Love You Drayah” produced by S.E. Trill, was recognized by local news swiftly becoming a beacon of awareness for SIDS throughout the local community and has become his kickoff single. “Even through tragedy my music has affected my surroundings by putting me in a more positive mind state therefore keeping me away from negative. I speak on life as well as my life and everybody needs to hear the truth from time to time”.
