A Trinidadian American::::dj/singer-songwriter/producer:::: Isis Azarene was first introduced to sound as an infant by her father, Ansel Murray a guitarist of Trinidad and Tobago who once played with Chaka Khan. Isis has continued her inspirations on the mic, behind productions and the decks. Isis grew up listening to calypsonian beats and performing in a classical vocal group solo and in a choir as a child. Isis Azarene was also a guest singer in the well known Howard Wiley Jazz Quartet of San Francisco during her high school years. Currently Isis Azarene is in the studio recording her first solo album set to drop Summer 2017.
