Brandon Wattz is the second coming of the modern American Soul Singer. Brandon’s earliest memories were honed around staying up late with his dad and listening to classic R&B records like Sam Cooke’s “Change is Gonna Come” and Johnny Taylor’s “Just One moment’. “I loved it”, he recalls. “Something about the instrumentation and vocal delivery just reached out to me”. Among his biggest influences he lists Nat “King” Cole, Sam Cooke, Eddie Kendricks, and Johnny Taylor. Brandon says “Yeah, it’s an honor to come from the same place as those guys who have paved the way” (Both Nat and Eddie are Alabama natives). Now the hours spent listening to all those old records are beginning to pay off as Brandon blossoms into the next great Pop/Soul singer. Wattz has a relaxed, easy going manner that exudes charisma. With a sexy frame and charismatic persona, it's not hard to see why audiences (especially female fans) fall in love with him. Recently, Brandon has been splitting time between Birmingham and Los Angeles. He’s interviewing potential management and has been working with a few industry execs, including the legendary Grammy-winning writer and producer Preston Glass, on some new tunes for his 2016 debut album.
