Directly from South America, Brazil, we introduce the Cosmic Funk Recordings, a new drum & bass label focused on deep, cosmic, melodic sounds with brazilian flava touches. For our first release we open this EP with a beautiful and perfect track for a late afternoon on the beach "Butterfly". A smooth tune with a beautiful piano accompanied by a melodic bassline and a female vocal that will make your day worthwhile. The second track "Polar" has a more introspective atmosphere but a very powerful bassline and beats that will make any soundsystem collapse. The last track "Better Than We Could Be" perfectly closes this wonderful EP. With ethereal piano notes accompanied by beautiful pads and pulsing beats, this tune is driven forward with an exciting bassline and inspiring female vocals.
