November 2001: Two seasoned musicians-one of them a Canadian multi-instrumentalist- with music stewing in their marrows meet almost by chance while working in San Francisco. Curiosity draws them together for a jam in an historical buildings' boiler room. Nothing could unstop the spirit that would escape this genie's bottle. A chemical reaction caused an explosion of creativity and songwriting. For Wolfe and Kramer it would become a spare-time consuming passion. Soon, an album would be born. The vision was agreed upon, the markers were set, peaks were assessed, and stacks of professional recording equipment were hoarded from ebay (and unsuspecting guitar-collecting neighbours). Their debut cd is an achievement- a product materialized into the world to live its own life. Will it reach new heights?- overcoming the tyranny of commercialism? Kurt plays drums and backup vocals, and Dean does everything else (with guest appearance from Tom Niehus on electric guitar for Until You). Since Dean returned to Toronto (and later Victoria BC) shortly after finishing this CD was done, the collaboration was forced to end- sadly, since they had almost a whole new CD half written and sketched out- and it had so much promise.
