This memorial reissue, originally released on New Years eve of 2000, was The Brodies first , and only album. The CD was reissued with improved artwork, and a video on the "enhanced" CD after Kevin Johannes (the frontman and primary songwriter of the group), passed away after a 2 1/2 year courageous battle with Cancer. They experienced gratifying regional succes in the Yellowstone-Tri state areas (Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming) due to constant live performances and radio airplay. From the first track, Keepin' up With the Jones', a cynical view of consumerism, to the (very) last track, 86'd(Get Loose), which is all about having a great time from a decadent party goers point of view , the words and music on this collection of songs bring strong visuals and a full range of feelings to the listener. Produced, engineered, and mixed in November of 1999 by Jeb Lipson, and Drummer Vocalist Steve(Verge Brodie) Johannes. Included on the CD, a bonus video of "Electraglide" was taped March 2005 at the World Championship Snowmobile Hillclimbs in Jackson Hole Wyoming can be watched only on computer with Quicktime or a Windows media player. The whole package is a fun, enjoyable ride, for even those who never experienced this band live.
