«In Full Colour» is the debut release from Canadian-born pianist, composer, & multi-instrumentalist Dale Nichols.

Starting his career in music at a young age, Dale studied the Royal Conservatory of Music program throughout his adolescence, participating in, and winning awards at provincial music festivals and competitions. As a teenager and young adult, he began composing music of his own and satisfied his curiosity by learning different instruments including guitar, accordion, melodica, violin, and drums. A film enthusiast from early on, Dale was captivated by scores of John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Jerry Goldsmith, and later found deeper inspiration in the works of Thomas Newman, Alexandre Desplat, and notably Yann Tiersen.  Dale’s own music creates an evocative style, weaving layers of emotion and melody into beautiful soundscapes for an intimate, cinematic feel.  An avid world-traveller, Dale has enjoyed entertaining friends and audiences around the globe.  Now in 2012, the first commercially available recordings of Dale's own works can be found on his self-produced EP, In Full Colour.
