Woodson is the new face and sound of urban music here in Boston. To understand where he's going lets start to understand where he's been . The sounds blasting from his kitchen boom box where the likes of Prince, R. Kelly , Marvin Gaye , and the late great Luther Vandross. With each new sound and look came an artist understanding and mastering his love and appreciation for the sounds he was hearing from his ears to his soul. Endless evenings and weekends gone by , Woodson began reading, loving and understanding what it means to be an artist. Each and every talent event held within the city Woodson made sure he was apart of it. With loss came determination. Never one to give up easily he expanded himself artistically and expanded his talent throughout New Hampshire, Providence and Connecticut. During his travels he join along the way singers Maurice Hampton and Ralph G. He was the student and they were his teachers. His songwriting and technical skills over a period of time while learning under his friends , has given Woodson the self- confidence and drive to prepare him for the cut throat realism of the music industry. Woodson's sound is crisp and inviting to an audience who is looking and longing for an artist who delivers in both , sound , look and performance .
