For this album, Solomon dared to break the mold of the tradtitional one genre type CDs and just express himself with the variety of musical styles his imagination commands. He makes no claims to be a great songwriter or musician and is humbled by all of the other artist that inspire him to make music, as he in turn inspires others. When asked why he made this album half vocal and half instrumental Solomon stated: When the song ideas for this album came to me it was like mush. Sometimes I had lyrics without any music and sometimes I had music without any melody. It was a mess, or at least I thought it was. Sometimes I was very discouraged about continuing the project, but as any musician I found it hard to ignore that ever burning desire to take those musical ideas that I had and record them so that other people could listen to me express myself musically."
