"Colouring Outside the Lines" is the third independent release from MC/DJ duo, Mishap and Phonik Ops. Together they deliver beats, rhymes and turntable wizardry in a fashion rarely seen this side of the millennium. This 8 track album sees features from iconic dubstep producer, Datsik and violinist extremist, Kytami. “We’re just always trying to improve our sound,” says Phonik Ops about the release, “working with two highly reputable electronic artists was definitely a different move for a couple hip-hop heads, but it really got us thinking differently. The result is very much our brand of hip-hop, but with our beats and rhymes reaching new levels.”

With a prowess for moulding time-honoured hip-hop aesthetics in invigorating ways, this album represents not only a time of growth for Mishap and Phonik Ops, but also the exciting new direction in which it's taking them.
