Steve & the Swells is a four-piece acoustic folk-swing band based in Dallas, Texas. The vocal-rich songs, all written and sung by Steve Leach, are peppered with the Dobro magic of Dennis "Slide" McBride. The rhythm section comprises Dr. Jim Wagner & Mr. Rick O'Connor. The songs reflect the songwriter's belated "coming-of-age" with a little bit of humor and wonder and self-deprecation, and lots of vocal harmonies.
