Grammy winning composer, Mateo Messina (Juno, Up in the Air) wrote the musical score for Second Nature, while the band The Filthy Hypocrites contributed six original songs. The Filthy Hypocrites are a newly-formed Pacific NW rock band, featuring members of Half Acre Day and employing lush arrangements, psych-rock elements, and unusual instrumentation in the vein of The New Pornographers, Wilco, Feist and the Beatles.
