Skyward Bound is a piece composed by Chris Woods about inspiration, belief in possibilities and allowing yourself to fly. It was originally composed for a performance of the internationally acclaimed dance troupe LXD (League of Extraordinary Dancers) and has been remastered and reimagined using cello to add more richness and depth to the piece, as well as a powerful solo in the middle section by Adrienne Woods. The original piece got a lot of great feedback, including one person who used the piece as he proposed to his girlfriend! This new version also adds the element of family, as Adrienne and Chris have played together since childhood and have a deep connection that comes through in their performances.

The Woods is an international music collaboration led by Adrienne (cello) and Chris (violin/viola) Woods. Musicians from the age of four, they have been featured on television (The Grammys, The Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, American Idol, The Today Show, The Voice) and have worked with the top people in the industry (John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Adele, Ariana Grande, Will.I.Am, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Outkast, Kendrick Lamar, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Lana Del Ray, and Lady Gaga). They compose/record/arrange strings for albums and film.
