After a six month period of downtime Mauro Picotto and Riccardo Ferri's Alchemy imprint returns in spectacular fashion, refreshed and with a single that is set to take the world by storm. Snare City is the latest work from a true Alchemy dream team of Gabry Fasano and Riccardo Ferri. With a combined output of 34 releases for the label the Italian pair unquestionably have the key to the Alchemy sound. With Snare City however they deliver a real curve-ball. As its name suggests the original is laden with the skittish snaps of the taut drum skin. The jazzy rolls and bristling wire sweeps rattle off like a gatling gun, under the control the wickedly funky bassline. A superb original production from Gabry and Riccardo.
