The pieces on "Ethereal" were chosen to evoke feelings of relaxation and meditation. I selected pieces from the classical repertoire, both obscure and famous, that are good examples of music that uses space which allows the music to float, or to put it best– music that's ethereal. The album was recorded in the afternoon of 3/28/15 on a Steinway D. The exception to this is the track 'In A Landscape' which was performed live at a recital on 10/26/14 at the same recording studio: The Piano Studio in Seattle. Jesse Myers is a classical pianist based out of Seattle, WA. He has been performing and teaching piano for the past twenty years. Jesse lives with his wife and daughter in Seattle where he received his Master's of Music degree from the University of Washington.
