One beautiful Virginia weekend in April of 2008, the Aletheia band packed up all of their equipment and went out into the country to get away from the business of life, to read the bible and pray for creativity, and ultimately to write a new album. What transpired over a 48 hour period was remarkable. God inspired the band to write 8 original worship songs in just a few short hours! With nothing prepared and no ideas in the making, the band prayed for creativity and authenticity and God delivered! Fast forward to December 2008...Adding 2 more songs and hundreds of thousands of tweaks, the new album is complete. This work is more than a collection of great songs, it is a tangible representation of God's working through the medium of relevant music to reach college students with biblical orthodoxy.
