Hetty Clark is an English singer-songwriter based in LA. Her songs celebrate life’s loose ends, and the ephemeral in everyday reality. In London she wrote and recorded with David Ford at the Richmond Park sessions. Since moving to Los Angeles, her style has diversified to incorporate electronic and ambient soundscapes. In the entanglement of hope, desire and loss, she believes the things that are hard to say are worth capturing because there is a musical energy in life’s unfinished business. She sees memories as innately musical and writing songs is her attempt to sound out experiences and to hold them in time. She cites Frou Frou, Everything But the Girl, Thomas Newman and Leonard Cohen as inspirations. Both whimsical and haunting, the songs have a fiery charm that blend electronic, ambient and Alt-folk soundscapes. This EP was arranged, produced and co-written by Josh Ricchio of Sing Engine Records. Sing Engine Records is an independent boutique record label created by Josh Ricchio.
