Adrienne's music is beautiful catchy and doesn't sound like other songs people have come out with. She has such a memory for music, she never finishes a song if a melody sounds like something she has heard in the past. Her music is truly original. Not only does she write, but she is also an arranger and producer who performs both solo and with her band Injade. She has produced 6 CD’s of her original music, most of which are songs about her life experiences, but at times her writing is influenced by the social and political issues of our time. In an article entitled, Adrienne – More than Just Folklore, the live review states, “There is a mystical quality in her writing that I’ve seen in few other performers… it is beyond me someone this talented hasn’t been signed to a major label record deal.” In a feature article in Songtalk Magazine published by the National Academy of Songwriters, contributing writer Sean Heaney wrote, "The way her audience listens to her songs is perhaps the highest compliment paid to her engaging song stories." Her voice has been compared to Stevie Nicks, Jewel and Norah Jones. Folks often tell her she sounds like an angel. Early in her music career, Adrienne achieved local success in the Metro Boston area both in local clubs and the streets of Harvard Square, Cambridge. After producing her first release, One Step Closer, her song, Overboard, became the most requested song that year on Boston radio station WERS. Soon after producing her second release Dust into Dawn, she was nominated for a Boston Music Award and featured in Boston Women Magazine. Adrienne has written songs and produced CD’s with other artists. Her work with Marsia Shuron Harris of Aye was one of these ventures. Their CD Sweet Life was chosen to be in the top 10 albums of 2000 by The Greenfield Recorder. Aye received stellar reviews in Northeast Performer Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Key West Citizen and Key West The Newspaper, to name a few. Another very successful collaboration was with singer songwriter David Tortolano in the band Injade. Their debut CD entitled, Shortcut to the Playground is currently being played on radio stations across the country. This past Christmas Adrienne came out with a CD single entitled, “Feels like Christmas” which you can hear and purchase on her website adriennemusic.com, along with all her other CD’s. Currently Adrienne is in the studio working on her 4th solo recording project.
