After many years of writing and producing for others SER Productions is proud to announce the long anticipated release of Steve Riley’s “Songs from Da Basement Vol 1”. This is his first solo release. “Songs from Da Basement Vol 1” is a compilation of music representing the many styles of Riley. Both young and older audiences will be attracted to the unmistakable Christian message over top of hip hop beats, over-laid with smooth jazz and R&B instrumentation. Steve is the former Minister of Music for Harrison Memorial Church of Windsor. These songs were birthed in the “secret place”; we believers believe that the “secret place” is that private place where one can go and commune (communicate) with the Lord; for Steve, it is at his piano in the basement. Songs were written from various times and circumstances in Steve’s life. Everyone should be able to relate when listening to the lyrics. Over the years, Steve has worked with many artists; some of which are featured on this project. Future volumes will feature other artists and varying styles.
