简介
I would like to thank all the kind people who have made it possible for me to record these, my very own tracks. Above all I am extremely grateful to Peter Müller for his tireless efforts producing this CD, be it the ace behind the drums, the djembe, the accordion, or the excellent all-round manager. My special thanks go to Erik Trauner for his fabulous contributions on the harp and slide guitar, to Petra Oehl-Toyfl who has shared the warm acoustic colour of her beautiful voice on some of the tracks, to my greatest treasures, my lovely daughters Teresa and Josefine, to Charly Wagner, the kind and fantastic bass trombone player, who sadly passed away in the winter of 2013, to Stefan Riedl who accompanied me on the piano with his unforgettably accurate style, to Bernhard Osanna for offering to feature his smooth and warm commanding bass tone voice, to Michael Schallmayer for his intricate guitar licks on ‘I drink‘, to Andi Wingert for his tremendously sensitive hand at sound engineering this CD, to Mario Lang, for his painstakingly emphatic search for the right cover photo, to Lukas Novak for the great cover design, and last but not least, to Harry Höhne for the countless hours we jammed together. (MK) Marina Kučera is one of the most sensitive female singers I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Each of her songs promises goose pumps; her concerts with the Mojo Blues Band, Lilli Kern or Herby Dunkel have been testimony to this. It is really high time her songs are presented to a wider audience, one that has a feeling. (PM) Gottfried David Gferrer is quite rightly known as one of the best slide guitarists in Europe: originally from Carinthia, Vienna has become the home to this exceptionally virtuous musician. Over the years he has developed his very own unmistakably personal style, so unsurprisingly he has become an ideally suitable partner for Martina Kučera’s project.
